SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES

     Our Sunday Services are outlined in the Church Manual. They begin with a hymn which leads into a Scriptural selection appropriate for the subject. Followed by the second hymn, a solo, and announcements, the sermon, a third hymn and ending notes.

     What makes Sunday services at a Christian Science church unique is the sermon is studied and read by those interested throughout the week. This lesson-sermon can be found in the Christian Science Quarterly.  This is done throughout the world - so no matter what Christian Science church you decide to attend, worldwide, the lesson-sermon will be the same and you will have had the opportunity to study it first!

     This may seem a little unusual at first, but how many times have you heard a really good sermon and wished you could take the text home and study it in more depth? With the Christian Science Quarterly you can do this - you can research your questions, pray over the ideas, let the ideas in the lesson-sermon deepen your understanding of God and heal you. What a great opportunity!!

     This is exactly what happens each week to those who choose to study the lesson-sermon before Sunday morning, which is why we have Wednesday evening testimony meetings available to those who wish to share their healings with others.

     Everyone is welcome to our Sunday service. Feel free to visit and be prepared to have your thought challenged with the ideas you'll hear - we're sure you'll love what you learn and will want to come back each week for more.

     If you'd like to purchase a Chrisitan Science Quarterly please come a little early, before any service, and you can purchase one in the Reading Room.
